Comprehensive “All In” Service
Our comprehensive service covers all aspects of your MBA application. This includes:
1. Profile Assessment, Positioning and Strategy
Admissions officers read thousands of applications each year. How can you put your best foot forward and maximize your chances for admission?
In this initial stage, you will complete a questionnaire and we will talk for 2-3 hours about your goals and career history so we can locate and tell your best story – one that is authentic, distinctive and memorable. We will figure out which schools best fit your needs, and then determine a positioning and action plan for each one, with key milestones and next steps.
2. Brainstorming Essay Topics and Essay Review (unlimited revisions)
Essays give you the greatest freedom and control to express who you are and differentiate yourself from other candidates with similar backgrounds.
Before you begin the essay drafting process, we will discuss how to approach the essay topics to convey your strongest message. We will look at your essays from a “macro” and “micro” perspective. Taken together, does each bring out a different and relevant dimension of you? And individually, does each essay tell your story in the most powerful way?
Once you have completed essay drafts, we’ll review the essays and provide feedback on content, style, presentation, and flow and fit with your overall story. Through our discussion, suggestions and edits, we’ll make sure your essays convey your value and experiences in an engaging way, and are supportive of your positioning.
3. Resume Review (unlimited revisions)
Your resume sums up your educational and professional background in 1-2 pages – which makes it a convenient reference point for admissions officers and faculty. A well-presented resume is also an indicator of how well you will present yourself to corporate recruiters. Your resume will be reviewed for readability and impact. We’ll make sure your resume accentuates your educational and career accomplishments and demonstrates your professionalism.
4. Recommendation Letter Strategy and Review
As most top-ranked MBA programs are looking for strong work experience, your recommendations are an integral part of your application. We’ll guide you on how to choose and manage your referees so you get the strongest recommendations possible. Should your recommender share the recommendation with you, we can also provide concrete, point-by-point suggestions for improving letters for each school.
5. Application Data Review
We will review your application data to ensure your answers are supportive of your positioning and consistent with the rest of your application.
6. Interview Preparation
If your application gets you noticed, your interview seals the deal. This is your chance to show the Admissions Committee your personality, communication skills, and why you would be a valued member of the next MBA class. We will prepare you by going over tailored and common questions for your target school, holding a mock interview, and giving you detailed feedback so you can nail the one that counts.
7. Wait List Strategy (if necessary)
You made it through the interview, but the Admissions Committee has put you on the wait list. We’ll cover the most important strategies and actions you can take to improve your candidacy.
