From 2008 – 2011, I oversaw the Marketing & Admissions of Singapore Management University’s (SMU) MBA program. During this time I communicated with thousands of prospects, read hundreds of applications, interviewed dozens of candidates, and helped build the first 3 MBA Full-time and Part-time classes for SMU.
I met many prospects who also applied – and were accepted to – to NUS, NTU, INSEAD and Chicago Booth as well. I have also interviewed over 70 MBA Admissions Directors worldwide on the Touch MBA Podcast, and seen thousands of applicants who’ve come to Touch MBA for school selection help. From this experience, I have a deep understanding of how candidates can improve their chances of admission through their goals, positioning, essays, resume, recommendations and interviews.
Many candidates are denied because of poor preparation and presentation. My goal is to educate you about the application process so you can submit your strongest application possible. No candidate should fall short due to a lack of exposure, whether to schools or the MBA admissions process.
I graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Public Policy and International Affairs and certificates in Computer Science and African-Amerian Studies. Before coming to SMU, I worked in consulting roles for the world’s largest privately owned shipping company in Singapore and one of the world’s largest publishing companies in New York. I have lived and worked in Singapore, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Norway, Colombia and the USA.
I look forward to working with you on your application.
